Match your scarf to its maker. The women who stitch the Sari Scarves are marginalized rural women from a small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, India, where kantha stitch is a speciality. West Bengal is famous for its richly-patterned saris. Each Sari Scarf takes three days to make and is signed with the maker’s own mark embroidered in blue next to the label.
