Makers
The women who stitch the SariScarves are marginalized rural women from Shantinikatan, a small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, India, where kantha stitch is a speciality. Each SariScarf takes three days to make and is signed with the maker’s own mark embroidered next to the label. Match your scarf to its maker.
